Just because you decide to stay at home doesn't mean you can't have a hobbie. I know a lot of CSAHM's who even have hobbies where they actually make money by working from home by selling crafts they make etc. Also be sure to make spending time with your husband a priority, and having a Bible Study group can help too. I do enjoy staying at home with my kids. The things I don't enjoy, I think is finding other moms I can relate to. It definitely is a struggle, but not impossible to overcome. Being a stay at home mom means you have to be a bit more intentional about finding things that help to keep you active and busy. Currently I work only part-time (3 days a week) and our little boy goes to a family friends house for those 3 days. I'm so torn between the two. I love my work but also love spending time with my little boy. It really frightens me though to stay at home because I'm afraid I'll be bored, feel unfullfilled, etc. I grew up on a farm and we always had so much to do on the farm but now my husband and I live in town and I worry about not finding enough to do here in town. Also, here in our small town there are only 2 moms that stay at home with their kids so having a network of SAHM is not really an option.
