Posted by CSAHM on September 7, 2009 · 8 Comments
I thought it would be a great idea to start a “Question of the Week” – please feel free to share your thoughts and ideas in the comments below!
This weeks question:
What are your favorite fall activities?
One of my favorite fall activity is taking the kiddos to the orchard and letting them pick apples and pumpkins. While we are there we pick up a couple of homemade carmel apples too..mmmm.

Our favorite activities in the fall are picking apples, searching for the great pumpkin and hiking in the woods with all the beautiful changing leaves!
I love fall cooking! I like soups and stews and casseroles and all of the yummy comfort food that tastes better when it’s fall.
I love walking in the woods this time of year.
Ooooh – we love our local orchard for apples & pumpkins too. Normally we just buy the apples, but we’re picking this year! And they make the BEST apple donuts so we treat ourselves to one when we visit.
We also love “weenie roasts” in the Fall. It’s been awhile since we’ve been able to enjoy one, but we love to sit around a fire and roast hot dogs and then make S’mores… Hot cocoa to drink – Fall is my FAVORITE season!
I love the fall!! Our family takes a weekend mini-vacation to Pigeon Forge, Tennessee in October. They have gospel groups and beautiful handmade crafts throughout Dollywood. The weather is beautiful and it gives us a chance to relax and spend some quality family time together.
I, too, love doing all those things like going to the orchard, cooking, hiking through the woods, and much more!
My favorite part is being able to take pictures of it all! It’s one of my favorite times of year to take landscape photos too! I just love the colors of fall!! And to capture great memories of my family is priceless!
We love going to pumpkin patches and picking pumpkins. The kids and I also love just looking at all the leaves and seeing how many different colors we can find.
We live in a part of the country that does full on, over the top, miles long corn mazes. Now that my kids are older (11 and almost 14) this is a must do every year. Not so much fun when kids are small, need strollers and tire out easily
