What is your favorite household chore?
Let’s just pretend for a minute that cleaning the house is fun, and we wake up every morning with the desire to make our house sparkle. While we are pretending, what is your favorite household chore? For me, I actually don’t have to pretend to say that my favorite chore is vacuuming. Seriously, if I am not too tired (which I usually am) then I actually look forward to vacuuming. For some reason it makes me feel relaxed and I get a lot of thinking done during that time.

I love washing dishes-I do not own a dish washer and I do not think I will ever-My children got me one I gave it away
In all honesty I love to do several things. I love to vaccum myself but I love to walk in the kids rooms and make their beds. I’ve got this thing about going to sleep with the sheets lightly fit and so I enjoy making the beds so my kids can also enjoy that.
Gladys… I would have taken your dishwasher lol as that is my LEAST favorite thing to do as its done ALL DAY LONG!!!!!

I love washing dishes too-for some reason God chooses to speak to me about certain things in my life when I am doing dishes both big and small.
Once when I was going through a crisis of faith and was ready to “walk out” on my Christian faith, He gave me both the music and lyrics to a new song that brought restoration to my heart.
I don’t do the dishes often anymore because I want my children to learn how to do them, but whenever I do, it’s like a special time with Him!
I looove doing dishes! There is nothing like drinking a strong cup of coffee, doing dishes, and talking with the Lord. And I kind of like vacuuming. Sometimes it is just plain fun to chase my kids around the house with it and hear their squeals of delight!
I love washing the bath tub and bathroom sink! It’s so satisfying seeing them both gleaming white!

My favorite household chore believe it or not is cleaning my sink after getting all the dishes put away ot in the dishwasher. Sounds crazy, I know. But here’s what I do…I first clean it with an antibacterial spray and then I fill the sink with hot water and add a little clorox. Wipe it all down and it shines so much when you’re done that you can see yourself in the sink! I call it shining my sink!
My favorite household chore is vacuuming. It means my floor is clear, toys are put away, and it always makes my house feel CLEAN!
I’ll take the next dishwasher someone’s willing to give away. LOL
