How Does Someone Become a Christian Blogger?

A Christian Blogger’s definition is actually two fold. You can start your own blog or you can comment or guest blog on other blogs or even do a bit of both. The question being, what makes you a “Christian” blogger?

This is answered by evaluating your relationship with the Lord. If you have a close relationship and an open heart, you can ask the Lord to speak through you and that of course will come through when you are blogging. Ask the Lord to guide you in the direction of his will and tell you what your purpose is in beginning and continuing to speak His words through your blog. Understand that you are not only blogging you are providing a ministry and obeying the Lord through your words. This is an awesome responsibility and should never be taken lightly.

Another concept that must be understood when wanting to blog as a Christian is that you must take into consideration that your words will affect others. You will want those who read it to read it with an open heart and an open mind so they too can benefit from the Lord’s word.

Only if you truly trust the Lord that he will guide you and speak through you, only then you may be classified as a true Christian blogger. This will be validated only through the words that you write and how the Lord moves in your life and the lives of others.

Be aware that there are false prophets out there, that claim to be of the Lord so be weary, ask the Lord to show you the truth. This statement applies to not only those who claim to write a Christian blog but those who read them as well.

It is a wonderful undertaking to begin a Christian blog, but just remember to focus on the Lord and what He wants you to do and say rather than the words of unbelievers or those who claim to be of the Lord.
