This week’s question:
What Bible verse really speaks love to you?
The Bible is full of examples for ways in which God loves us, but the Holy Spirit is amazing at ministering to each of us in different ways. It’s because of the uniqueness of each of us that verses tend to speak to us so profoundly. When I sit and think about what Bible verse really speaks love to me I run through quite a few in my head (there are so many!), but yet there is one that, for me, is the most powerful show of love from God and it is a verse that keeps me going…
Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God John 1:12 NIV
When I read that, I am reminded that God loves me as a Father, in the truest sense of the word. He is my Daddy. I am His child. He gave me the right to be His child the minute I trusted Him with my life. And for me, there is no greater love than that of my Daddy. He protects me. He cares for me. He will never leave me because I am His.
Faith – Four Week Mini Bible Study
When we believe in God we then learn to walk in faith and trust God. But first we must believe, and it’s up to us, we can either choose to believe in Him or not. But faith will mean nothing until we believe with all our heart that God is who He says He is.
