This is very good and it is also good to remember knowledge is only power when we put it to use. Put it in action. :)

Bible reading, esp. to our children, should be our #1 priority. Don't let satan steal that from us.

I've just started re-reading the entire Bible again and I'm always surprised by some new understanding of passages I've read before.

It helps to have a good concordance on hand to explain words that may seem vague or unclear in meaning. A Bible dictionary is helpful too when learning about the culture or place mentioned in Scripture.

This morning I read Philippians - and two verses popped out at me and stayed with me throughout the day - It is the living Word of God that can speak to your heart when you seek to read it.

Great reminder!

You should also pray to the Holy Spirit to ask Him to help you understand and interpret the Word of God correctly. Pray this everytime you open scripture and study it. Jesus sent us His Spirit for exactly that purpose.

Many of us misinterpret what scripture is telling us sometimes. That is why Jesus gave us His Spirit and also it is why He gave authority to His church. The roman catholic church is infallible in its doctrines, although many don't believe this, and the Spirit can guide them to this truth if they are open to it.

God Bless,
