Christian Movie Review: Bolt

bolt_teaser Bolt is the new action packed Disney movie about a dog that is a star but doesn’t know it. Bolt stars in a TV show where he has super powers, the only catch it that Bolt believes these super powers are real, and the producer of the show would like to keep it that way. This approach doesn’t sit well with everyone involved, including Bolts owner a little girl who is also the start of the show.

This movie really was a great family movie. I am not sure what I expected really, but it was better than I had expected! This movie was beyond funny, I laughed out loud a number of times. The characters were very lovable, and did I say funny!

The only scene that may be scary for little ones is a fire scene at the end which looks a bit realistic, but other than that this movie is appropriate for ALL ages. I give this movie 4 out of 4 stars for being SUPER funny and family friendly!

We too loved this film as a family and watched it a couple times. But, my 4 year old started having nightmares about the Green Eyed Man from that movie so we’ve had to take it out of our collection.
