In Kathy’s own quest to be a good mom and successful manager of her home, she devised the Family Manager system. It’s based on the idea that the strategies that run any organization or business well will help you run your home well.

When I first started homeschooling my oldest daughter the first thing I realized was that I NEEDED to get more organized. But learning how to organize our busy schedule did not come naturally. I was confused and overwhlemed and hardly knew where to even start!

The Busy Mom’s Guide to a Happy, Organized Home has been so helpful in guiding me on HOW to organize my life, my home, and my schedule. This book is super organized and easy to follow, and provides tips and tools that are easy to implement.

Kathy Peel has organized the book according to the seven key areas of your life:

  7. Self Management - caring for your body, sharpening your mind, and nourishing your spirit.

Whether you feel like you have all the time you need and your home is running smoothly or you’re beyond chaos and need help fast, every mom needs a few tricks up her sleeve and inspiration to keep going. Either way, you’ll find help for getting on the fast track to a happy, organized home in this indispensable guide.

    Great giveaway! I could definitely use this book. My husband, daughter and I moved cross-country 7 months ago. We are living in a small basement apartment (we used to live in our own home) and it is so cluttered! We’re not used to having such small spaces. I try to organize but I really don’t know where to start. I LOVE to read so a book on organizing would be perfect. :)

    What a awesome giveaway! I am organized to a point which is very litte, this book would help me extremely. I would be able to get on track not only with our financias but scheudling a budgeting. this would be a good book to help me out.

    I could really use this book as my house, or should I say my life, has been so unorganized for the past 3.5 years since I have been working outside of the home and trying to raise my kids. I just quite my job and am beginning my journey as only a full time mom in the home this week. I think that I would really benefit from this book as one of my first goals is to get my house back in some order so that I can just sit back and enjoy my kids and not stress about the clutter and/or mess in the house.

    What I wouldn’t do to try to get organized, especially on a budget. To learn how to get the family involved in my organization and to keep it on track would not only be economical but I truly believe that if only I knew how I would be teaching my children great values. Children learn and lead by example and it is never too late to learn something new. I have been in search of great resources to help me and make it simple for my family to follow through.

    I need this book because I have 5 children who range from ages 2 to 16, we just moved into our very first home and not being organized has caused us to miss out on some great opportunities. My husband and I work full time and God has shown me that the best way to keep my family together and working as a team is to organize everything. But how and where do I start?     My home is not completely organized but I truly need it to be. My daughter went through major brain surgery last year and we are just starting to get settled back in from hospital stays. We are relocating from our small apartment to a house Nov 1 so this book would be great to help us get settled and organized!
