Review

Debora Coty is a columnist,  internationally published author and speaker who “knows more about stress than painting her toenails.”  With a sparkling sense of humor, Mrs. Coty puts her finger on the pulse of stressed out women everywhere and applies truth with a healthy sprinkling of laughter.

Welcome to the slightly frazzled sisterhood that shares your distress about stress.  With the hectic lifestyles we lead in these unpredictable times, we just can’t seem to avoid worrying about choking finances, impossible schedules, unstable health issues, or a myriad of other stressors that steal our peace.”

Sound like you?  This little gem of a book purposes to “rejuvenate your desperate heart” with user-friendly ways to find the peace of God that lasts – in the midst of a world that pushes and pulls and threatens to steal your purpose and joy.

With honesty and reflection from God’s Word, Mrs. Coty reminds the reader what it’s like to experience a “real, honest-to-goodness, gurgling from the guts giggle.”

My Review

What a DELIGHT to read!  This book has given me more chuckles than I can remember in quite some time.  Totally relatable – real, down-to-earth experiences shared in a humorous light – this book makes perfect sense to me!

Each chapter is short but packed with good truth from real life and God’s word.  Suggestions to improve your attitude and actions that can help de-stress are rampant.  Each chapter ends with a few simple questions for personal reflection – and they are thought-provoking and purposeful.

Whether you read this as a devotional – or daily encouragement - or just so you can crack up laughing while reading it in your doctor’s waiting room so everybody stares at you wondering “what’s so funny?” – this book makes for a GREAT read!  If you are stressed AT ALL – grab this book.  You’ll be giggling ‘cuz you did!
