Product Review: Craft Club Membership

craft1This month I had the opportunity to review The Mac Rak HIS Kids Bible Craft Club. The Mac Rak “all-inclusive” craft kits are for kids of all ages and delivered monthly right to your mailbox. The Mac Rak offers different clubs for every style, taste, & budget.

The first picture actually features the April HIS Kids Craft Club, and this craft club is a a Biblical craft designed to help teach your kids about the love of Christ.

The HIS Kids Club Bible Craft: “God is Love Cross” included the following within the kit:

  • Glue
  • Magnet
  • 3 Foam Cross Shapes
  • 6 Foam Letters that spell “God” & “Love”
  • Instructions which also include things you can discuss with your children and scripture references to read together.

I have to say my kids and I had a lot of fun doing this craft. I have 3 kids, but my two youngest were the ones interested in doing this craft with me, and their ages are 5 years old and 3.5 years old. What I loved most was that even though we only had one cross to decorate, it was plenty, we worked together as a “team” to get the project done, and it was really enjoyable!

craft21 This craft actually turned into a great teaching moment as well! When we were assembling the craft I had each child find a letter to glue onto the cross, and we talked about what sound the letter made.

I also had them look to the instructions to see where that particular letter went on the cross – and this teaches them to read and follow directions, even though they can’t read in depth instructions they were able to easily look at the picture of the completed cross that came with the craft. Also at the end of the craft my 5 year old took the opportunity to sound out the word “God” since he already knew what the word “love” said.

The Mac Rak HIS Kids Craft Club really is a great gift to give to your kids. Not only do they get to make something, they also get to spend time with you, and even learn a little bit too. Just about every day my kids tell me how fun it was when we did the craft, it’s a memory my kids and I will cherish forever. I highly recommend The Mac Rak HIS Kids Craft Club to anyone looking to spend quality time with their kids
