Lap booking 101: What is lap booking?

In the last post I talked about the essential starter supplies you will need to start your lap booking journey, but after I made the post I thought to myself, “Maybe I should have talked about what lap booking actually IS.”
So in this post I will talk more about what lap booking is and I will also post some links you will want to save to your bookmarks that will help you on this lap booking journey. 
Lap booking is essentially the art of putting together activities in a compact form that are designed to help your children learn about a particular subject. Most lap books are designed around a particular theme. Lap books are made of Manila folders and then the activities located inside the lap books.

There are plenty of resources out there, and this list only represents just a few. As I start making lap books for my little ones I will post links I come across. I do highly recommend joining a lap booking group which is always a great place to get resources, links, and even share lap booking ideas!
